Digging up old bookmarks

Cleaning out some old bookmarks of mine, ran across the musical bicycle horn video, Emily Pollard’s 24 favorite non-vocal songs, What the Internet Is and How to Stop Mistaking It for Something Else, netghost’s artwork, freaky stereo images, and noticed that Breedart seems to be offline at the moment. And if you’ve never been there, Quiet American is a must see/hear.

Wind Chimes and Birds (plus a lil’ dash o’ doggie)

The neighbor in my duplex has 2 sets of windchimes hanging beside her door (and mine), and I’ve always loved to listen to a set of windchimes with a slight breeze in a quiet neighborhood. Although our’s isn’t always such a peaceful place, the day I recorded this it was, and there were even a few songbirds singing nearby. You can also hear my neighbor’s dog Kara barking a few times at the beginning of this recording. The rest is chimes n’ birds.

Up n’ runnin’

New CSS layout finished, and, I believe, now working on all pages with most(?) browsers. Layout is now NOT based on the glish layout I tried before. This one is much more simplistic. Shewbox email is fixed and any inquiries/problems with the site can be sent to the address listed in the side bar.

What broadband could/should be…

An article on ZDNet Austalia describes the broadband boom in South Korea, and how competition has helped foster that boom.

Plain Jane Redesign

I think I have most all the kinks out of the redesign. The layout was stolen/adapted from Glish layout techniques page. It may be plain as hell for now, but at least its readable, organized, and easy to navigate. Which is better than I can say for some webpages.

UPDATE: guess I should have tested the new site in IE too. woops. If you use IE, then this page will look rather messed up. until I find a fix for it, you could always try a better browser.
