Space Art – Axius, from Onyx
Ah, the simple pleasures of 70′s synth music. I found this via Anthology Recordings, which I found via a short article in Wired magazine. After a full day of studying Beethoven symphonies to help my wife prepare for her symphonic literature class, it’s nice to put on some music I don’t have to think so critically about. Actually, I don’t know if you would want to think critically about this music anyways. I don’t think this music “finds a temporary resting place in a glowing Arcadian movement within which may be glimpsed the sublimated kernel of the Joy theme”, as Solomon would say of Beethoven’s 9th. Anyways, enjoy:

No commentsCarlos’ Ninth Symphony
This piece suddenly started repeating itself in my head this morning. I wonder though, was it Wendy Carlos yet when this was done or was it Walter?
